I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I grew up with a father who was a great hunter, himself the son of a hunter. We are all descendants of great hunters. If we weren’t, our family lines would have died out long ago. However, in a disturbing trend it’s becoming less and less common that these skills are being passed down to future generations. It breaks my heart because I think there are some incredibly valuable life lessons that come from hunting, taking life, and obtaining one’s own food. Additionally in my mind, hunting is still . . .
