Arguably, a bow and arrow is the next best thing to a gun when it comes to the ability to forage meat in the wild. I myself have been a bowyer (someone who builds bows) for the last decade and have hunted large game with self-made bow and arrows for the last 8 years.

I personally build hand crafted wooden hunting bows, but I recently came across this video on how to create a nice hunting bow using scraps of PVC pipe. Being a DIY survivalist guy I am always interested in how to re-purpose random . . .
