Frostbite Awareness

Frostbite is a serious injury and one that can permanently damage skin, flesh, and nerves. If you live in a climate where the weather drops below 32 degrees in the winter, which most of us do, it is important to know the signs and symptoms of frostbite and how it can be prevented.  Children are especially susceptible to frostbite as they are often so immersed in the moment that they can forget to take care of themselves and might not know when parts of their body are getting dangerously cold.
