Mother’s Wisdom for Preparednesss

 
Mothers knows best. This is true for so many situations, and preparedness is one of them.
 

Growing up, my Mom had the best alliteration for things I would need on my scouting trips: “Water, Wranglers, weenies, wipes, warm clothing, weather protection, a weapon, a wayfinder, whatever… and keep a watchful eye”

She was smart, and she knew how to be prepared for anything. Whether it was unclogging our garbage disposal, or shushing the neighbor’s dog at night. My Mom seemed to have a mystical touch about her. Now I’d like to share . . .
