During any event in which you find yourself in a burning or sinking vehicle you must get out of it as soon as possible.  At that point, your vehicle is nothing more than a tomb waiting to claim a victim.  Let me  point out some things to consider for each of these situations and then address them as a combination.

First off, let’s make sure that we understand that very rarely do vehicles actually explode when they catch fire. That is so uncommon that I had difficulty finding but very few instances of this . . .
