BIO SCURRILITY PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
Many poultry veterinarians talk about the bio security that can reduce the exposure of chickens to diseases. This can be done when the poultry farm owners and workers understand the mechanism in which the diseases can be transferred.
They can combine the knowledge and implement it as a disease prevention program. The program can’t stop the diseases, but it can reduce the probability of it spreading. The effect of the program is usually felt after it has been implemented with a series of flocks. It isn’t visible in the true sense in the first flock after the program is initiated.
There is lack of support for these programs. This is because many farm managers see these as expensive programs that are time consuming and don’t yield the results instantly. They prefer to use other products such as vaccinations and medications.
