It sounds like the plot of a movie: As a critical election looms, the country faces a pandemic, shootouts and attacks on police, anarchists and nationalists clashing in the streets, a questionable vaccine being brought to market at warp speed, and possible foreign government interference in our elections.

And yet, we’re calling it 2020.
