The couple of drawbacks to be aware of : they can dangerously over- penetrate, especially at close range—could travel clear through the target and walls, furniture, or anything else in its immediate path; requires a more accurate aim due to the reduced spread of the slug, which is more difficult for some in high-stress situations.
