So once everything goes to hell and the world is crumbling around you the same old pre collapse security may not be the best for a post collapse world. Do not get me wrong, the steps I listed above should still be followed.

You should have good locks, locked up tools, pruned hedges, etc. However in a post collapse world there are a wide variety of different tactics you can use to further enforce your home.

Let’s face it, stringing a hundred strands of c wire up just isn’t socially acceptable for an everyday scenario. The collapse situation however is one where social norms and acceptance are not a primary issue, survival is. So what else can you do to secure your home?
