In a survival situation, it’s possible for a human being to live long periods of time with little or no food. Water on the other hand, is far more important.

You will need about 2-3 cups of water a day to stay healthy. Research shows that a healthy person can survive for up to three weeks on just 500 calories per day with no side effects, provided they have an abundance of water and shelter. Meanwhile, without water, a person can only survive for a few days.
