One of the most valuable gifts you can give your children is to teach them how to work together as a family unit. One way you can do this is to provide them with age appropriate chores and household activities that will help the family with various needs, while also staying within their developmental reach. Most children find excitement in being helpful, especially when the assigned task is something that they enjoy or feel a sense of empowerment by.
